The core dietitian support item is 01_760_0128_3_3, "Therapy - Dietitian - Direct Service", registration group 0128 (Dietitian), claimed per hour. For 2026-27 the national price limit is $178.99 per hour, with separately numbered items for telehealth, non-face-to-face work, NDIA-requested reports and provider travel (travel at half rate). Always confirm the current figures in the NDIS Pricing Schedule before claiming.
The NDIS sets a maximum price limit per hour for dietitian supports, and you cannot charge a registered-provider participant more than that limit. The exact figure is published in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, which is updated by the NDIA each year (usually from 1 July). Yes. Supports delivered in a Remote (MMM 6) area attract a loading of 40 percent, and supports in a Very Remote (MMM 7) area attract a loading of 50 percent, applied on top of the national price limit. Dietitian supports are funded from Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living, which is support category 15. The dietitian sits in registration group 0128. The participant needs Improved Daily Living funding in their plan for these supports to be claimable.
Provider travel and non-face-to-face work such as report writing can be claimable, generally at the same hourly price limit, but only within the rules and caps set in the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and where agreed with the participant.
